Does anyone here know much about Windsor chairs?

I would like to commission one by an artisan and am seeking recommendations.

Many thanks.

What do you want to know?
What do you want to know? Brian Boggs is probably one of the finer makers today, and Thos Moser both makes them on a more commercial scale.

A friend of mine does...
A friend of mine does beautiful work. Rural Newfoundland. He does ship
worldwide.
For some reason i can't find his website at the moment...
If you have an enormous budget, go for the best...
For affordable beauty, consider John Patterson.
I have a few of his chairs in my seaside saltbox.
Not really as rustic as they look. He uses milk paint, and beautifully waxed.
A true craftsman...
Just a thought...
Not a sales pitch. He is very busy.
