Probably a house design, no single designer. Based on the type of bulb socket, I'm guessing Rembrant or Stiffel. I'd bet it's likely a Rembrant lamp. Don't get too hung up on this lamp, it really isn't anything notable or valuable for that matter.

Looks like the work of Appalachian folk sculptor Pa Glumly.

A novelty lamp
that was probably free with a bark-a-lounger.
They are everywhere. Free in a garbage heap, 1 bean at yard sales.
Overpriced at thrift stores. (5 beans)
You could at least clean it up and take a nice photo.
Getting 10 beans on e-bay is hardly worth the effort.
Even the most cheesy ones that some collect are stamped.
Like Puccini Art Novelty Co. (the lamp shades are usually the best part)
Here is one listing.
"VTG Table Lamp Shade Eames Era Art Deco Ceramic Boudoir"
(9.99 no bids)
Anyone that collects them for their kitsch factor, has a house full of them
because they are cheap and funny.
It isn't snobby. It is just fact.

what a cunning taunt!
"so-called expert", has--just as you planned!--infuriated me beyond all good judgment, and caused me to reveal that your lamp is almost certainly designed by perhaps the most neglected of all major, neglected Italian modernists.....

I was thinking it too, but could it really be?
Hmmmmm.....
The shape is right, the color as well, and looks very similar to the one that broke that auction record a couple of years ago.
However the signature is supposedly "CR". Could it really be a messy inscribed "GdF"?
I don't have a copy of the recent catalogue raisonné to check.

Perhaps the "CR" is only a foundry mark, and GdF left it unsigned?

perhaps, but If that is the case
then then the proper venue should be an auction house, for the museums and galleries to bid on, though the scuffing on the base might be an issue. I'm pretty sure that last lamp, the record breaker, went to the V&A for their permanent collection.

This is classic di Frutta.
Would look simply stunning juxtaposed to his golden winged phallus sculpture.
