Hello
I am thinking about purchasing a set of these chairs ,and having them redone.However; before I waste my time ,and money on them could someone here help ID them.They have a metal tag on them which says BEKA ,and has what looks like three kittens on it.I would at least like to get an idea of where they may originate from.Also; if possible the designer ,and maybe a year range.I didn't have a camera with me when I viewed them ,so the only picture I have is off the dealers website.

..Belgian manufacturer owned I think by the Bekaert family. The three small cats were used with the logo starting in the early fifties, at least for a decade or so and became more and more stylized over the years. But they are still there as you will see on their website. The company was or is mostly known for producing high quality madresses but diversified in all kind of wire products including barbed wire. One of the Belgian DAers could probably tell you more
