I too
much prefer the Aldo Londi monochrome birds, but they're £100 more, so I didn't suggest them.

Good idea, Sixpence.
Brancusi made his own, Moore made his own, Picasso made his own. What what ONE man can do, another can do (-Anthony Hopkins/ The Edge).
Get yourself a hunk of marble, a chisel, and a hammer. Simply chip away anything that doesn't look like a Henry Moore sculpture.
I wouldn't recommend making your own plinth, though. Those should be ordered online from a reputable plinth dealer.

Is it to late to suggest looking at ART GALLERIES? There are galleries that sell sculpture both new and old and at a range of prices. Or is that too obvious?

Bronze sculptures
I was just in a gallery here in New Orleans and I ran across a lady that has been sculpting in bronze for a long time now....amazing stuff. The images do no justice for her work.
