Mahogany Assoc. No 134
I recently acquired a tambour desk with a piece of the sticker still on it. The assoc. no. of 134 is there. I see several others have reported pieces with that number. Was this number specific for an area or a type of piece?
Any help to offer?
Thanks

My first Mahogany Association sticker sighting!
A harbinger of Spring?
While in a thrift shop this week, I happened upon an upside-down end table that bore the mythical Mahogany Association sticker! Seriously, I almost couldn't contain my excitement, and had to stop myself from pointing it out to passing strangers ("LOOK-- A Mahogany Association number!!!").
Alas, I was too giddy to make note of the actual number, meaning my find is lost to history until the table's subsequent buyer happens upon this thread... as they inevitably will.

I also have this table, mine does'nt have the harp but the rest sounds very uch like mine. I am looking for info also. My number is 3801 and there is the number 509 stamped on the edges by the hinges that fold the table.
I would appreciate any info you can share with me.
Theres part of another sticker but I can only read "mper"
I'm wondering if its not from the Imperial Furniture Co. in Grand Rapids, Michigan because it does say Grand Rapids on the bottom!
Please let me know if you find anything else on it and I will do the same.
Thank You
Jeani

Those bastards at Kling Furniture
have totally ripped-off Caulfield's Mahogany Association Price Guide:
"Many existing Kling suites will be official 100-year old antiques in just thirty or forty more years. Imagine how the emotional and financial value of this furniture can be enhanced with proper identification and documents."
They certainly understand their audience. It's genius, really.
