Looking in MOMA's collection, I see Christopher Dresser's 1876 watering can. This thing is amazing. I would have mistaken it for something from the 20th Century for sure. Are there any artifacts older Modernist, or proto-modernist artifacts than Dresser's watering can? If so, tell me about them and add a link if possible.
