The more original an object is, the more valuable it is.
History has shown this to be true.
I mentioned cars, because it's something I am familiar with, but you could say the same thing for any other collectors market.
These Nelson chests are fairly common, most I find for sale in my area have labels, some dont. Unfortunately most have also been refinished. Garlanre, did a good job on his/hers (even if its the incorrect finish type) but it is still worth less than an example with an original finish in good shape. Why would someone pay the same for one missing a label given a choice?

I'd say original parts / finish / condition are much more important / valuable than having a sticker on an obviously authentic item.
Sure, labels are nice (especially in cases where "well-done" knockoffs exist), but they certainly aren't worth the $50 that some people are selling them for on eBay.
