This chair is currently one of the most watched items on ebay. Bidding is up over $1,500.00 and it looks like it will ultimately do for significantly more. Anyone know what it is?

I saw
another of those go through ebay a year or two ago. Not a huge amount of interest IIRC. Perhaps that is the 1stdibs one.

Whatever it is
...it looks damned uncomfortable. At least in that saggy leather where your bones are right up against the hard edges of the cross braces.
