I sold my Subaru Outback recently and am left with our Mini clubman.
I am honestly surprised at the cargo capacity of the Mini, but miss the width that the Subaru provides for tables and cabinets.
So what do you drive to transport your finds?

We own a Citroen Berlingo
with seats coming down and popping out.
Next to that I use a trailer, which can easily store two or three large sideboards.
With this combo I don't have the need for a van or something else.

I like this question.
Up until Friday, I was driving a Pontiac Sunfire. Not the coolest car in the world but it was cheap and it ran well. I once had 10 HM shell chairs with stacking bases in it.

I like yours better, jesgord.
350, 402 or 454? Factory air? 1972?

oops,
you already mentioned that it is a 1972. I believe that I spy a factory cargo light?, and perhaps factory bed rails? The precious children are blocking my view. I see that it's an automatic transmission.
so sorry, I just love automobiles.

My 1972 Chevy Blazer, which I am guessing is not physically or mechanically as pristine as jesgord's '72, but better in the rain...
Factory 307, no A/C, three speed column shift.

Thanks Mark and jesgord. ...
Thanks Mark and jesgord. Your Cheyenne looks very nice. I am picturing it with an egg chair in back. Did you have recent restoration/paint work done on it? Mine was bought new by my father. I believe the original bill of sale says $4400. He specified all of the minimal amenities when he ordered it -- no air conditioning, no chrome bumpers, no hubcaps, no carpeting. He gave it to me in 1994. I have got a great deal of use out of it.

Quite nice Chevrolets.
I learned to drive on a 1972 Chevrolet Blazer (2 toned gold and white with a 350 four barrel, automatic.. )...and I so foolishly abused it. I'd love to pamper it now. It had a factory 8 track player and a c.b. radio. I wore appropriate pants whilst motoring....even way back then.
carry on,
Aunt Mark

.
I look art those Chevs and all I can think of is Piet Hanema in Couples.
Ordinary old utility, with a 3 metre long trayback that I enjoy knocking small trees down with and carrying full length sheet goods.
Ah...and constantly helping to clean up my parents garden with it.

Nice trucks guys
When I was younger I used to roll in a long bed Chevy C-10 with a straight six, three on the tree, and a camper top to keep things cozy and dry. Crossed the country a couple of times in that thing, sleeping in the back. Then I began moving furniture and art all the time and needed more room so I had to switch to a van. I have since become a devotee of the Ford Econoline. I'm on my second. This once has concessions for the kids like a bench seat in the back with seat belts and windows so they can watch the world pass by. Otherwise, it is stone stock and no frills. Like my man Mike Watt, "I jam econo".
