I'm interested in some feed back. I thought about the eames lounge chair 670 was it! but the cost $$$$ 3-4000.

Does anyone know of this chair.
Dux Reclining LC, by Ohlsson
I looked around for the grasshopper saarinen lounge chair without any luck.
I want the MCM look/vintage thing going on.
Any ideas/ feed back.

Dux reclining lounge chair and ottoman
from the early 60's.
designed by Folke Ohlsson
produced in Burlingame California
Both the ottoman and the chair adjust

what do you know about
I don't know much about designer Folke Ohlsson
also
It has this interesting design were you can adjust the tilt chair with a lever and elevate the ottoman. What do you think?
I think, I would have it re-upholstery but seller says the "cushion seat and ottoman seat have dried out" and "should be redone"
Is that work worth being done?

I've always loved this chair & ottoman
(though I've neither owned one or even sat in one).
Why don't you ask the seller what the reserve is, then decide if you want to spend the additional money for the foam replacement?
I'm with Whitespike-- it's handsome and unassuming and I can't imagine ever tiring of it. I even like the neutral upholstery color of this example. (Better watch out or I may bid against you for it!)

I own the same chair
and I love it. It's very appealing to the eye. I also had the chance to add an Eames chair, but chose this chair instead, mainly because the eames is much smaller than I originally anticipated. This chair is comfortable, especially reclining, and the tilt feature on the ottoman is great when you are reclining.
I am very happy with my purchase and though I could've got the eames chair at a very fair price, this chair was worth it as it is a bit larger than the eames.

I appreciate.....
I appreciate your responses and feed back. I agree about the looks/design of this lounge chair. It has a MCM feel, without the loudness or the distraction and I think will mix well with other pieces in my living room. Thanks,Daws

In Sweden, It,s the "Duxiesta set 4", designed by Folke Ohlsson for Dux and the furniture company who made it was called "Ljungs Industrier AB" in Malmö, Sweden. The serie is called "Bra bohag"."
