Wegner style Rocker "Made in Japan"  

I was just given a Wegner style rocker in serious need of re-cording. It is dark stained beech, and obviously a period copy so I expected to find "Yugoslavia" stamped on the stretcher on the underside....
But no. It bears a sticker that says "Made in Japan."
So, as a note to anyone who might be interested: there exist period editions of the Wegner rocking chair from Japan, which doesn't seem to be widely known (judging by the lack of google results).
The photo below, with terrible lighting, is my Yugoslavian "Wegner" and in the darker wood, the Japanese "Wegner."
