if this is what you are looking for, but they definately need recovering. Fabric starts at $50.00 a yard, and you will need at least 6 yards for two chairs. Labor might be several hundred each. I would only go to Knoll for the fabric, and let them guide you with the re-upholstery. Unless you want them right away, I think you can do better than what this seller is asking. Good luck.

I thought that was your chair Carolyn... it sure does get around and sure is commanding lots of attention! Did you only have the one or both that this new eBay seller has?

I just had the one chair, and as you remember, considered having it re-upholstered (in off-white) which would have looked fantastic - but the style itself just didn't seem to fit in my small living area. The other one was sold separately, but I believe they were a pair once. I still love the chair, it is sooo comfortable - also wonderful is the Platner low table that is constructed with the same metal work. One thing about the older Platner pieces - the metal has a patina that, to me, is much more handsome than the new raw metal. Whoever gets this pair will have a wonderful set.

How much should i pay for a seating group?
I have found two lounge chairs, low coffee table, and a tall backed lounge chair with ottoman. In the original navy fabric. Slight fading in the fabric, one small tear in the upholstery and the table had two small chips on the outer edges of the glass. How much should i expect to pay?
