I think we should change the name of this thread to the "Gianni Sacchetto di Frutta" origin site so people know WTH is going on in those subsequent threads!

Srsly, I would guess it's a Memphis era thing. Or is that a given? I'm not a fan of Memphis design at all so have never read up on it. I just know that I don't like it.

or maybe I'm completely misinterpreting what this is... (and yeah, not really design related at all, but definitely falls into the "WTF?!" category)

That's just a tool for paramedics and doctors to cut rings off peoples' fingers without risking damage to the digits. The brand name "Beaver" certainly ups the creep factor!
