I would like to have both, but not sure I can swing the money.

The first is a Dunbar, the second is a danish teak credenza. The danish credenza has a water stain, but the dunbar supposedly does not have any marks. Which do you all like better?

danish for me...
i do normally lean toward organic pieces, especially in the case goods arena. but that said, the danish credenza looks much more honest to me than the dunbar does. maybe it's tradition or maybe the uber-clean metal legs actually are indeed a bit over the top. they certainly are to me anyway. but honestly, you have to look at the spot you'll slide it in and decide for yourself.

for me, the dunbar is a stand...
for me, the dunbar is a standout design for its style and the danish is a generic example of its style. given that both styles appeal to me, the dunbar is the obvious choice. Thats not factoring in price, of course. And I aggree that the dunbar is the better investment.

dunbar
it's neat-o. Put a simple round chrome planter full of colorful flowers on one side, and photo of me on the other and you're done.
I like the danish one for it's homey appeal, but after looking at Saarinen's Miller house I'm in a fancy mood.
