Hi All,
I have a pair of Mid Century black leather / Rosewood
Arne Norell Safari chairs in very good condition which I have up for sale at £2,100.
I paid four figures for the pair so feel the price is a reasonable 'ask'.
Am I asking too much or maybe not enough, I am not an expert but doing my best to learn the trade!
Opinions please.....Thanks in advance!
3. Requests to identify...
3. Requests to identify objects are welcome as long as the object isbelieved to be modern, post-modern or contemporary (no antiques). You mayask for help identifying an object?s designer, producer, period, style, material etc. ? but not its commercial value. This forum is not a free valuation service.

Don't be thrown off to the forum by shit responses like that of retrolampguy. Some feel the need to jump on new people here in order to sound witty (I am guilty of it as well). I never read the forum rules when I first joined so don't worry about it. The response you should have received should have been something like this:
Most here will not provide you with appraisals. The best thing that you can do to determine the "value" of your item is to check COMPLETED Ebay auction. It is not enough to just check the completed listings as people can ask what ever they want so you need to tick off "SOLD" as well when doing the Ebay search. Other venues would be to check Liveauctioneers, reviewing past auctions.
