I agree Robert, def not Merrow. I have a feeling these could well be Dreipunkt International. Do you know where they originally came from? The bolts look like Dreipunkt to me. I presume they are very heavy?

Yes
Yes, really heavy chairs, The metal parts are very flat and sleek, no flaking whatsoever. I got them on a recycling forum thingy here in Ireland. A small business was giving them away as they needed more space.

I think Dreipunkt mainly...
I think Dreipunkt mainly sold to the contract market so if they were with the business from new they could well be. Did they have any other design do you know? My final guess is Dreipunkt, I can't think of anything else that meets most of the criteria. Nice chairs though, enjoy them 🙂

Poul Norreklit - could it be... the same chair?
I had to unearth this old thread as I just happened upon this pic in RETRO MODERN DESIGN website. Could it be the same as my old chairs?
This white one is by Poul Norreklit for selectform and is estimated at 1230 euros

Very
Very similar, only difference I can see is that the end of the base is square on theirs, and sloping on yours..
Maybe a slightly different edition ?

exact except for the flat end on the base. I am assuming it is the same chair. I have seen larger aesthetic changes than this made to the same chair before. Think of all the different types of feet and shockmounts you find on old eames bases.

the rear 'stretcher' seems to have rotated too
But I'm with whitespike..small changes, so almost certainly the same chair

hi!
Hi Killian, they are fab chairs aren't they? The pics dont do them justice, mine are so comfortable even in the tired old state they're in and the chrome is really top notch, I rubbed it with 0000 steel wool and it gleams :-. Since I first posted I've moved. We were in Sandymount Dublin. We moved here to Oslo, Norway in August, I like it here but I sorely miss Ireland 🙁
