A Tale of Two Buildings in Portland..  

The Guthrie building was a problem
Rapson had a limited space to build the Guthrie Theater, and the theater outgrew its space. Besides, there were structural floor to ceiling posts that obstructed some seating.
If it had been my decision, I would've preferred that the adjacent Walker Art Center keep the Guthrie facade and changed the interior into more art exhibition space, but they decided to tear it down.

Graves Portland,far better than most ordinary buldings not near as good as many of the better buildings...:)
