I am looking for some inspiration online or books that could help me with decoration of my house in a Swedish modern or Danish simplistic style. I've seen quite many books on coutry Swedish design, you know the blue and yellow color combination that I am not very fond of. Do you guys have any ideas how to achieve this look? Thanks.

if you are looking for inspiration, you might want to try a book called: Scandinavian Modern by Magnus Englund and Chrystina Schmidt. It is not too expensive, not too bad to get introduced to some classic scandinavian designs in glass, metal etc. And it contains lots of large colour pictures of scandinavian interiors (incl. Eero Aarnio s place and Poul and Hanne Kjaerholms home).
