Found the aluminium group chair I want, all good but if possible I'd like to take the 5 star off and put on a spare 4 I've got lying around, can it be done?

I don't have intimate experience with these particular chairs, and I haven't heard this situation discussed before, but that seems like something that should be pretty straightforward.
