Sven Ellekaer Table - Glass Thickness  

Hi,
I recently bought a rosewood Sven Ellekaer coffee table, such as the one pictured here:

It was $10, buried back in a garage at a yard sale. Unfortunately, the original glass had broken and the owner had replaced the glass with a much larger piece that doesn't fit within the notches.
Does anyone have any idea what the correct dimensions of the glass are? I'm guessing it is 1/2 inch thick, but I want to be sure before I have a shop cut a new piece. Also, any advice on whether the edge is beveled or not would be appreciated.
