Steve Jobs?
How about the guy who actually wrote the code for computers. There's the genius.
Sorry, Steve Jobs was good - but on a ladder of inventors and geniuses, he is VERY far from the top, but much higher than most of us.
I wonder how many people know who the man (and possibly the only one who could have) built the Saturn V Rocket as opposed to one man chosen among potentially thousands to sit on it and go to the moon?
This is sort of how I feel about someone blowing Steve's trumpet - and I think Steve would agree. It is not required - or seriously deserved.
I guess of someone really feels he is that high on a ladder, then I guess if your life revolves around video games then Microsoft is your God.
Leave the title of inventors, innovators and people who changed the world forever (real change, like discovering thermodynamics or the electron as two crude examples) to those that actually do deserve it.
Steve will be forgotten in moments, and the others will still talked about in 10,000 years.
Steve was a nice guy - so I hear.
