I kind of thought the same thing but I purchased it with a set of Uldum Johannes Andersen chairs that are definitely late 70s early 80s production. The hardware and assembly look really similar to a Niels Bach table that I had before that was solid teak. The teak is fairly aged also.

Ah there it is. Thank you. Yes I agree about the design. However its not to keep and got a very good price on the table with two leaves and a set of chairs. There is something appealing about all that solid teak though. Maybe just the idea you could really destroy the thing and bring it back to new at any time.

I really like solid teak as well. Quite a lot of my furniture is solid teak. And I rather like some of the early Dyrlund stuff.
And I just realized I may have sounded disparaging about the table with my comment that it is probably worth more for the teak. I just meant that it isn't the sort of designer table where the design is greatly multiplying the value of the raw material. And thick solid teak is really expensive wood these days.
