I would appreciate any assistance with identifying this sofa . . . no luck combing through books, this forum or Google image. It is a three seat sofa (seems to me to be of the 70s) with attached back and seat cushions and two semi-attached (removable, clipped) arm pillows. The back cushions are two tiered - with the lower part of the pillow providing excellent lumbar support. The seat cushions have what I have coined "the crumb catcher" - a slit, or seam, or pocket sewn into the center of each seat cushion that runs a few inches wide and a few inches deep. There is a subtle scallop to the front seat edge and the edge back along the top. No identifying tags. Found in Wisconsin. Upholstery is not corduroy; perhaps a heavyweight ribbed cotton. I am wondering if there is anyone who can identify designer, maker or even other similar designs. Thanks so much for your expertise.

Hi,
Generally the cushions on Thayer Coggin / Baughman pieces have small chrome hooks and eyelets under the cushions to attach the cushions in such a way that they cannot be pulled straight off the sofa, if there are "D" shape eyelets and hooks under the cushion on elasticated ribbon then chances are its Thayer Coggin.
