This appears to be a vintage Panton chair that I am trying to buy. Interested in redoing it. Anyone have one of these for cushion dimensions??? Thought it may be a fin chair in my son's room....

AH - thanks! I am usually privy to the knock-offs. However, if the seller will respond, they are only asking 50 dollars. I am in Austin, TX. They cite it as vintage. Any way to tell?

At the risk of sounding like a fretful busybody, Whitespike--
This seems like a dangerous (?) chair to put in a young child's room. I can imagine a toddler getting into trouble with that thing!
(Is it just me? Perhaps I'm being a fretful old biddy--)

Whitespike,
when the little man tries to stand up in that chair, (and he will!), his legs are going to go straight through to the floor. Then he will scream until someone comes and rescues him. And this will probably happen eight times a day.

Riki--
I can imagine an even worse scenario involving a toddler's head & neck!

He never wrote back anyway....
He never wrote back anyway. I really wasn't thinking when I mentioned it for little man's room! Meaning it wasn't seriously considered first, obviously!!! Funny though... I'll stick to the Saarinen executive that he likes. The hole in the back makes for some great peek-a-boo time!

A picture
of his little face peeking through the peephole would be a good ad for Knoll!
