You've likely seen this cute little thing here before. I bought one to have a nice simple battery radio for emergency use. I thought I'd share a small design beef. The battery cover on the bottom A) requires screws to open it) and B) one screw is flat head and two smaller ones are phillips head! So you need TWO FRICKING SCREWDRIVERS to replace the batteries! Is it me or is that just a really amateurish design mistake?
Safety First
Geeze...great example of design overkill. Did you buy this in the childrens section?
If I may, I suggest that for emergency situations to get the Red Cross (just an example, other varieties) all in one hand crank radio/flashlight/language translator/auto-diagnositics/coctail mixer. Certainly doesn't possess the cool design qualities yours does. Or visit your dentist and get metal cavity fillings.
Speaking of beef....
Which one of our US Presidential candidates is the best designed?
Clinton? (Egg chair?)
Obama? (Arco lamp?)
Edwards? (Eames Time Life stool)
McCain? (nice upholstered chair that was kept in the attic for years and had repairs to two of its legs)
Huckabee? (generic foot stool with a tacky 19th century upholstered fabric)
Thompson? (no, not him...he looks like a broken down Windsor chair)
Guiliani? (Italian floor lamp that needs rewiring)
But I digress.
