I noticed this morning that no one has responded to yet another appeal for us all to SHUT UP AND DO SOMETHING. An appeal that, once again, assumes us all as self-righteous design snobs, that can't "DO" so we "THREAD".

In my limited time here, it seems that there are a fair amount of PRACTICING designers. Maybe not all in the interiors field, but we ALREADY participate in the process, or MAKE STUFF enough on a daily basis that actually adds a little bit of credibility/relevance to our input/critiques.

So, all of you looking for Guinea Pigs or FREE design services in an attempt to expose "us" as "ALL TALK", go through the pain staking exploration that the rest of us do to find solutions for whatever "problem" we're faced with and stop asking for handouts. YOU may actually uncover something about YOURSELF in the process.

I thought about responding ...
to that thread, but I don't think he means that he will design me a maid or nanny. And children are what make my environment less than perfect.

related to the "all those interested in design" thread, I am surprised because if you aswer the call to fill in the form ...which I did, nothing appears of course on the thread, it only show up on Will Hall's website...
Otherwise I am with those who think that we are dealing with a "major malfunction"

I do grow my own baby leeks...
but not for my martini.
Nice idea but i prefer them grilled.
