I almost bought this model
Until we were thrifting and found two of the above models. After so many years I was suprised that they still work. The things we throw out......

I use a Chemex on the weekend, when I have more time, but my daily cappuccino comes from a KitchenAid.

Agree with Olive, I use the same Bodum plunger about 2 or 3 times daily and have had the same one for about 6 years, even if you break the flask it can be replaced without having to buy a whole new unit.
