Hi, from reading the forum I've gathered that most of you live in the USA. I am trying to find a company to ship an Eames 670/671 to the UK. I haven't purchased the chair yet as I haven't been able to get many quotes. Most companies don't respond or are very vague (it'll cost lots and be slow).

The piece has a standard shipping size and weight.
1. confirm the cost (if any) of shipping within the United States from the retailer to a freight forwarder (many well recognized international freight forwarders are available for review via Google).
2. get the cost of shipping from the United States to your location in the United Kingdom.
An authorized US retailer is not permitted to ship your 670/671 directly to your location. "Blind" shipment from the seller to the freight forwarder is the only legal solution.
It is very simple to spend money internationally. Good luck.

Hi Simon, I have a shipper near me that has done this before for me and shipped a 670/671 to a friend internationally. He's quite talented and takes great care when packing. Is there a way to private message or anything along those lines in order to not disobey the forum rules?
