I picked up a very nice item yesterday which had been stored in a cold garage.
After a few hours in my nice warm home the drawers have seized up completely, there is no movement whatsoever.
I am sure a few members must have encountered this problem before. What are my options here?
Leave it for a few days and hope that the timber settles and the drawers free up or maybe put it back into the cold, wait for the drawers to free up and then gradually acclimate it to room temperature.
Any thoughts and suggestions would be most gratefully received.

I've encountered this a few times
but think it might be more to do with humidity than temperature?
anyhow, it's normally settled after a few days and the drawers will open again (after much panicking)

Thanks Robert, that's what I was going to do, play the waiting game.
I'll give it until the middle of next week before I contemplate panicking.
