Heres a fun pulling back layers thread. I seen this today in a thrift store, had to save it. If for anything else to pass it to someone who will actually see value in it. I really like the design, but my house is so jammed packed. Do you guys happen to have any information on the maker? I assume they weren't anything famous like eames/knoll. I am just always adopting furniture. I just saved 2 lane acclaim tables, coated with cigarette tar and pledge...then another one coated with the same grime..

Looks like there was indeed three layers, which had to be peeled away. I assume the final cushions were the originals.

Correct, there was the...
Correct, there was the satin/bedsheet material, then the egg crate and duck tape layer and then the original brown cushions. I once saved a chair that had a layer of 80's pastel material, batting, then a layer of 70's plaid material, a batting layer and then the original 50's cushions.

My friend is telling me that he loves the lines. He says I should keep it and have it recovered. Do you guys think its worth putting out the money to have the seats recovered? What short of fabric would look good on them?
