In lieu of an official
Rosti Historian I think I should answer the question (having known the company for a long time, going back to ROlf Fahrenholtz and STig Jorgensen) and having worked for them for many years. I can confirm with a very high level of certainty that neither is the case.
Rosti products have always been made in Denmark and later on in Holland (Mepal) and a Rosti subsidary in Thailand. After the company was sold and went from A.P.Moller ownership to dutch owners other sources might have been used but either of the one you mention. Just to be sure I will check and get back to you.
