Reupholstering Paulin f-598 chair  

I have a vintage f-598 chair that needs to be recovered -- the upholstery is an off-white wool that no longer fits very well and is somewhat stained.

Can I take this to a good upholstery place -- I live in NYC -- or does the unique shape of the chair and zippered cover mean that I need to order a new cover for the chair from the manufacturer, Artifort? Will they sell me a replacement cover? If I get a new cover, can I put it on the chair by myself, or would I need to take the chair and new cover to an upholsterer?

Any suggestions would be appreciated.
