I have a vintage Osvaldo Borsani P40 chair in need of restoration. I have purchased the original foam pads (very expensive) direct from Tecno but they appear to be ovesize to fit the frame. Does anyone have photos of the chair with the cover removed so that I can see how the foam fits ?
thanks

Hi Peajay
I have a D70 vintage sofa, in need of new upholstery.
No idea how they attach.
When you say expensive, how much did you pay for the
pads? And how did you deal with Tecno?

When you see
a version totally done in black vinyl or leather the comparison is complete..
But that's what I like about it, it's aero-automotive character.

I visited the Tecno showromm...
I visited the Tecno showromm in Paris and ordered the foam directly from them. They offered to take photos of chairs without covers in their Italian factory but sadly they never kept their promise. I paid around 300 euro for the set for a standard chair.

Hi, I have 2 very early Tecno p40 chairs by Bersani. They are in need of new foam/cushions and some brass parts. Please if anyone knows where I could get these new parts let me know. -Albert

Albert Merola – Graham Mancha ( http://www.mancha.demon.co.uk/) in the UK has parts for the P40 and D70.
(I think I came across pics of your set on Instragram recently. If for any reason you plan to part with one or both of them, please shoot me an email a teakhound@gmail.com. We just reupholstered a D70 and are looking for a P40 to upholster to match.)
