Production of Casalino Chairs - plastics used  

Hello there,

I have a question regarding the Casalino Chairs by Alexander Begge.

I can see that DWR is selling them and the plastic looks like...shiny plastic. Previously I had seen these chairs but they were in a material that was technically I guess a plastic, but it had a different feel and look to it, almost like there was a rubber component so it wasn't shiny but a matte finish.

Has production changed over the years? I am trying to think of a plastic that looked and felt like it but I am coming up short.

It just wasn't shiny like the new ones issued and this is my point of confusion.
