Pod chairs for overman or not? Help !  

Looks simmilar
It looks similar to these chairs.
But my concern is that the cushion looks different!
Any thoughts? Anyone? 🙂

Looks like Overman to me.
They used welt on the cushion, which isn't typical but maybe they tried it for awhile, I dunno. I have two of these right now and the shape of the arms is just like mine, plus the base is exactly right. (Needs at least one black glide, though---someone was selling these on Etsy recently, possibly still is.)

Those cushions look strange, maybe they were replaced, after all its a chair from the sixties 🙂 The owner does not remember were the cushions replaced at some poit or not, but this chair had only 1 owner 🙂
Well, we will see I will probably them eny way since they are sold for less than a hundred for both !

Look at the underside of the
cushions--if they have a zipper about 1/3 the distance from the front edge and fabric (not vinyl) on the rest of the underside of it (the majority, in other words), then they are probably original. That's how Overman cushion covers were done.

They are pretty comfy!
I'm not a fan of vinyl but I like them in fabric.

Just heard back from the seller!
the response is :
The cushions are vinyl all over and in very good condition
There are no problems with the zips, they go all the way across the back of the cushion
Now I am confused 🙂
Not sure what to do! Any advice on that?

If they are indeed vintage,
i think you're ok. Vinyl does split sometimes when it's old so maybe the cushion covers were redone.
These are actually being reproduced now in China but if you're sure that the owner is being honest about their age, I'd go for it.

Well, maybe those cushions are not a big deal, just wanted to have a 100% original piece 🙂
The seller is honest, its an old lady who had those chairs from the begining, so I doubt that the chairs are anything but original. But still the question remains are those chairs real overmans or no 😀
