Please help me indentify the lamp

I found this lamp in a house I was moving today. I find it gorgeous, but cant seem to find the artist that did it. it is marked with three letters. One might be an 8, or not. I couldnt make it out for the life of me. Please help.

It's really hard to see the lamp in all its modern / post-modern glory from the photos, but it doesn't look very nice.
