I have a vague recollection of seeing this chair at an auction at Tajan in Paris a few years ago, however now I can not find the catalogue online (it was part of a special Italian Chair Auction, if I am not mistaken).
The chair has no labels or marks whatsoever, however comes apart very cleverly - back and seat as one piece, snapping together to the frame with small brass connectors invisible.
Once again I am very grateful for any help anyone can provide me with in identification!
Additionally would appreciate any info on this "quirky" side chair - very well made with beautifully fabricated black leather seat - but no tags or other marks, piked up at a local thrift store for a few bucks.....
Edited by DA: Pictures not showing. Marten you need to use the "direct link" on photobucket.
I am afraid
finding a "designer" for that chair may not be easy. Danish style chairs were produced in Yugoslavia, Italy, Japan, Romania, and probably other places in the era.
Maybe I am wrong and this particular design doesn't fall into that category.
It is a nice chair though, even if it isn't a designer piece.
