Finally posted a set of photos from the recent Planner Group exhibition at the Los Angeles Modernism Show for all and sundry.

Paul McCobb and Bryce Originals
Since the Bryce Originals produced iron mirrors and shelving units were marketed by B. G. Mesberg National Sales and sold, at least initially, by furniture specialty shops and department stores they kind of fall in a mid-ground between the two collections. Most accurate would be to say that they were their own separate entity entirely.
They were typically shown with Planner Group pieces at their inception in 1953 and were designed to correlate with the dimensions of the Planner Group cases.
Later production of these pieces had Directional tags and I am thinking that the line was moved over to the Directional Showrooms some time after 1955 but am honestly not entirely clear on this point as I have supporting documentation to show that the line was still sold through furniture specialty shops as late as 1959.
