I purchased the Orange Slice Chair, and was totally unprepared for just how comfortable and versatile this chair could be. Does anyone else have any stories?

I wondered that too..
Its's too low for dining, and the shape makes for only one sitting position??

The shape is a pain to get through a narrow door! Took me a while to get mine into the office.

one position?...
I have owned an Orange Slice now for about 3 years and I must agree with Kirth an Nick. You don't see it when you look at one, but as soon as you sit in it for a longer time, you start to move and scroll all over the chair. You'll be amazed how many conventionall and even more unconventionall positions you find yourself in.

Paulin
Pierre Paulin is without a doubt one of the early masters of ergonomic, form-fitting upholstered foam furniture. The tongue chair, the ribbon chair, the orange slice chair -- all beautiful, sculptural designs, and yet so very comfortable.

Yep..
I can proudly admit that I also own that one. In principle it's the same story. It looks a bit weird and when you first try to sit on it you don't really know how to find your position. After some moving about you swiftly find a very comfy pose and find that you can scroll around in this chair with just as much easy as the Orange Slice. (although I must admit that I personally find the OC more comfy)

I own a few Paulin chairs, the Oyster is in my opinion the most comfortable. Least comfortable are his 'concorde' which is pretty hard, and the little tulip, which as the name suggests is a little too small for me. The back rest is very low so it doesn't offer much support although it does look good!

I also have 4 Little Tulip chair for my dining table. For this purpose they are very good. Even for an after dinner drink they are very nice. True they are not lounge chairs, but that is not what they where designed for, I think. (I ownde an Oyster in the past and can only confirm that it is extremely comfy)
