Thanks for link to Pearsall catalog. I found my high back swivel chairs(2139-C). The 3 seater sofa and lounge chair were out of the same home but .... I didn't find them in the Pearsall catalog or anywhere else I've looked online.
The wood either isn't walnut or it has a lighter finish that is worn off at corners
There are screw holes covered with little wood tabs where arms and legs attach to frames. Seems more clunky than Pearsall.
There are pieces of curved wood trim across the front of sofa and the lounge chair - defining the seats. They kind of look like smiles.
I love the way they look in my living room but they need re-upholstery big time. I am not sure if the expense is worth it if these aren't the real thing.
Opinions?

Not Pearsall
Pearsall legs were attached with hidden screws and they had more substantial dimensions and more gracefully curved edges. They were also solid walnut with an oiled finish. I have reupholstered a number of them and the legs/bases and trim are the best thing about them, quality-wise.
If you really, really love it, get it redone in a good fabric. You can get some good deals on Ebay still if you are patient and diligent. That will help to defray costs. I personally would hang on to it while looking at other Danish Modern style sofas. It seems like one of those things that is appealing to those just getting into the look but that later will be left behind as tastes develop. I've done this with plenty of things myself.

Thank you Spanky
I appreciate the thoughtful analysis. I am going to hold onto it for now while I keep looking for something more true to period.
