I just got this table for little money ($50) thinking it is real Paul McCobb piece. However, when I got it home I started having my doubts. It does not have any marking but it is very well made and has the feel of being old. I have attached the detail of the back of table plus the threaded legs. One of the legs thread has been striped and I do not know if it is worth the investment to fix it to its original condition. Your feed back of if this is real or not is very much appreciated.

Just my 2 cents
The planner group stuff that I have seems to have the same legs that are threaded in to the piece the same way. Hope that this helps you out.

Yep...
Thats a McCobb Planner Group table. I've had a bunch of them. Sometimes they still have a foil label on the underside but its not surprising that it has fallen off.

Thank You All
for putting my mind to rest. Has anyone ever encounter stripped thread on legs of these? If so, what would be a best way to fix it?
