Is this the real deal, in that, it is not signed?

Additionally, were there knock-offs of this designer's work? Be blessed, Lenox

nope.
You're looking at the knockoffs. Even these (especially the wall-mount bar) are still worth a little bit. The set shown is constructed of resin on wood. The real deal is metal

I believe Lane made some pieces in this style but I'm pretty sure the set pictured is usually attributed to Craft Associates

Craft Assoc,
Craft Assoc made the Paul Evans style pieces. Once you've seen enough real Eavans pieces and the knock-offs, it's not hard to tell the difference but the bar is very easy. A real Paul Evans disk bar is 6 feet in diameter while a knock off is 4 feet across. Also, Paul Evans did do a lot of pieces entirely of metal, but also used the bronze resin on the surface of some pieces like the stalagmite table and disk bar.

The easiest way to tell the difference is to try and lift them. Real Evans stuff is ridiculously heavy
