I was told by someone who is pretty knowledgeable about this stuff that the ottoman that everybody assumes goes with the Papa Bear chair was not actually designed as such. Rather, I was told, Wegner designed it as an independent piece - a stool -- though it worked so well with the Papa Bear chair that they were often paired together. Does anyone know if this is true?
