I'm looking for a good online source for pictures, vintage catalogs, etc. for Widdicomb I am trying to authenticate a piece that I suspect is a T.H. Robsjohn-Gibbings.

He made modern
yet somewhat traditional furniture...mostly in the late 1940's. Elegant, though (see below)
Also, besides no book about George Nelson's non-Herman Miller (curse Schiffer), where the career book on Paul McCobb?

The black chairs are (in my opinion)
a bit clunky, but his magazine X table is certainly iconic.
I guess you could group Robsjohn-Gibbings' Widdicomb stuff on the same page as Wormley's Dunbar and McCobb's Directional stuff. Elegant, but conservative.

Barry.
Interesting last pic what was the text on it,if any?An old queen I knew, now gone, went to U.T. with Pullin, Gibbys longtime companion...I wish there was a book on T.H.Robsjohn -Gibbings, so VERY few whole life bios on designers, hell few on the work!I have several Saridis klismos chairs(outlandish prices) and a few of the Widdicomb...
