I found this desk locally. Can anyone provide an ID?
I kind of like it. On one hand it seems like a fairly generic 50s/60s institutional type of design, but the long aluminum pulls and "steelframe" design suggest that it may have be more than that? I read a suggestion that Vista Furniture of California made desks in this vein but have been unable to find any photos with my googling.
PS: I'm just a student with an interest in mid-century furniture, not a wannabe dealer! Thanks for reading.

No idea of the id, natch...
But what a handsome desk. I simply love white formica. It needs to make a come-back into the kitchen. Solid surfaces are starting to bore me.
Thanks for the posting,
Aunt Mark

Mueller Metals Desk
Its a Mueller Metals (Subsidiary of Widdicomb at the time) desk made around 58 or 59 in Grand Rapids Michigan. I have the exact same desk but with a wood top matching the drawers. Looks good with the white top though. Nice find.
