Hi, From my great aunt in Turkey i have been inherited hundreds of 50's furnitures and objects which mostly are in excelent condition, included with these furnitures there are pair of Eames chairs with stools. I am thinking to transport these furnitures to my home in UK but i will like to know more about these Eames chairs. I know these chairs are not from 50s but i remember seeing them in 70's when i was a kid. They look very unusual to me, their leather covers are surrounded with zips. I have never seen anything like these before and i don't know if they are early fakes or real. The chair has five legs and stool has four legs. I am posting some photos here, i have already polished the leather seats, they were in bad condition before.Thank's for your help...

Congrats on some cool inherited objects! Without any maker's mark, I'd be immediately suspicious. The bases also look to be thin metal, as opposed to the Herman Miller cast/polished metal bases. Your shells don't have screws on the outside of the shells anywhere. Looks like these are good replicas in my (non expert) opinion. That said, the replicas don't come cheap, and some have even argued that the Plycraft/Selig Eames style lounges are better quality anyway. A web search for Eames Lounge will keep you learning for hours.
