Turbine and multi Ball
Got two more clocks from All World; the 30" diameter Turbine clock and the multi-colored Ball Clock.
Both are nifty, and since I'm using them as wall art, it doesn't matter if they're Vitra or Howard Miller, as long as they're well made.
The Turbine is a honey.

Won 2, lose 1
Here's two cool clocks I recently won on eBay, followed by a beautiful 'Horse' clock, which I did not win.
The plastic one is surely Arthur Umanoff, and the other two are Meridian Ceramic clocks...the clock faces are from Italy.
Nice, huh?

The horse clock
didn't meet the reserve so I contacted the seller and lo and behold, he sold it to me off line.
So...got one already and two on the way.

The Turbine clock
was $88.00 from All World, but LRF tried to get one and they were out stock.

Nice ones, Lloyd
but I own very few clocks.
I have,
the Eye
the Steering Wheel
the Ball
the Turbine
the Kite
....all fakeroos from All World
the squarish ratton one
the black faces plastic Umanoff one
the round ratton one
the Bitossi Blue one
and the two ceramics that are on their way.
No table models
11 clocks in total.
Lloyd, you must have 30 or 40 by now, right?

i'm the "dude" that sold that clock!
While researching another clock I came across this thread! Little did I know back in 2008 I hit the pages of design addict with my Nelson Brass Asterisk clock! It was brass plated and the only "refinishing" was repainting of the clock hands. I remember the message about it only being worth $400.....I believe I got $700 for it.....I guess sometimes the experts are wrong. 😉
A nice Arthur Umanoff leather face coming soon on Ebay. My new handle is "port-sheldon-pickers". Oh and it is not "fake". I don't roll that way..... ~peace~ Jon
