I picked up these molded hard plastic chairs with metal bases today. The only marking I can find is what looks like a "DWP" & "4" on the underside.

I'm trying to figure out how old they are, and who made them...Can anyone help?

Thanks!

They remind me of
Herman Miller office side chairs... Can't remember the model name. Could be them or from another company.

Yup, Swank
it's the Bill Stumpf & Don Chatwick Equa sled side chair from 1984. It's a beautiful design and absolutely worth restoring.

thanks for the help! The undercoat is a silver color with the blue-green painted over it. There are no signs of their having been upholstered, but that could have all been removed prior to the paint job.
Any suggestions as to the best route to take in restoring these?
