What's
that supposed to be -- an oversized rocking high-chair ? Needs a safety belt, probably. . .

I have no idea why anyone...
I have no idea why anyone would modify a rocking chair that way. It is on Italian ebay, all I understood was that the modification can be removed.

Eames RXR
The RXR is a prototype, confirmed by the Eames Foundation. You can view the RXR at the link to the Eames Foundation catalog below.

I can't figure out what woodywood and Lunchbox have to do with Modern Conscience. Are they competing for business?

Uh huh.
And what is your relationship with them?
Please feel free to point out all the other "lies" that we have been spreading on the forum.
BTW, the item pictured above was a fabrication offered by "Modern Conscience", created in the style of the prototype that you linked.
I am well aware of the existence of the prototype and the documentation on Eames Office as such.

aggrandizing morons woodywood and Lunchbox *
I am glad that Eames products do very little for me, otherwise I would probably be called much worse (although others opinions of me have no meaning) than an aggrandizing moron. Where is the Ark (he is just mean) when he is needed the most.
I would have to know woodywood and Lunchbox better before I felt comfortable making such a statement regarding their character.
