My friend and I found this fun mod seating in a local store, but we're newbies to the design world and, according to the seller of this piece, there's no story other than that it came from a midwestern college campus and was reupholstered and repainted. We didn't see a label (though we didn't look underneath).

We're trying to figure out what justifies the $1300 price tag (other than the fact that it is an interesting piece of furniture). Can any of you knowledgable Design Addicts enlighten us? Does it look familiar? Anything we should look for when we go back to see it?

Thanks in advance!

Edit: I still can't successfully post using the imagehost - I've attached a link below..

It's really a cool, but I don't know
the designer.
But, I suggest you two see a dermatologist. Hopefully that yellow condition can be reversed.
flickr.com often doesn't work in the "associated web images", which is why I use photobucket.

Thanks Barry!
Yes, I forgot to warn you about our ... condition. But then again, I think our look complements our space-age seating.
🙂
Thanks for your help - I'll use photobucket next time.

flickr works
flickr works, you just need to make sure you are signed in, then right click, select "Properties" and copy the address. However, that ONLY works if you are signed in.
